Bug was so proud

Bug and his cousin, Gabe put together a "scary" railroad, dinosaurland type thing. Bug took more than 25 pics and he wondered when I was going to blog it for him 'cause he thinks it soooo cool. :) So this blog is from him. I have NO idea how to even describe the pics. So you can figure it out for yourselves. LOL All I know was it was "SCARY" :)

Bug's Baptism

Here is our little or not so little 8 year old on his baptism day last Saturday, June 6. I can't believe how fast this time has come. It wasn't too long ago we found out that we were going to be parents and Michael came into our lives. We thank our Heavenly Father daily for the choses that wer made that brought him to us. As you can see, I hope, Bug was VERY excited about being baptized. he was literally bouncing off the wall. He couldn't sit still and was running EVERYWHERE. We were so grateful for all the family and friends who were able to come to celebrate this speacial day with Bug. He picked everyone personally who he wanted to participate in the baptism program. He was so scared to ask them though. LOL So mom and dad did that. :) He asked Grammy and Aunt Rachel to give the talks. Aunt Nyree to play the piano, Aunt Melanie to lead the music, Aunt Vicky and Uncle Kevin to give the prayers and Uncle David and grandpa to be the witnesses. To be able to watch my husband, a worthy priesthood holder, baptise our oldest, is something I will ALWAYS be grateful for. After Bug was confirmed, we all headed home to get in play clothes and meet at the park for a BBQ.
I heard Bug yelling for me and this what I found!!! LOL There is a tree at the park he LOVES to climb. None of his cousins could climb the tree (parents wouldn't let them) and so he wanted SOMEONE to climb with him. Since dad was cooking and mom was taking pics and talking to family......

Our dear neighbor, Teresa didn't want to disapoint him, so she joined him. It was so funny!! She loved climbing as a kid and so she gave it a shot again. What a troooper :) If you can't tell, the tree was REALLY tall. Kudos to you guys....

All in all, it was a wonderful and peaceful day. We love you Bug.
